The comprehensive, up-to-date Solana validator reference — written for stakers, sourced from on-chain data, current with the network.

Solana Validators Wiki is the English-language reference stakers reach for when they want to know what a Solana validator actually does, how their performance is measured, and what every term that affects staking yield really means. Every claim cites a primary source — Stakewiz, the Solana Foundation, on-chain RPC, vendor wallet docs — and every numeric carries an epoch number and snapshot date.

What's in the wiki

Trackers

Persistent reference pages for ecosystem-level subjects — protocol upgrades, Foundation rule activations, network-wide quantitative shifts, and stake-pool dynamics. Each tracker is a single canonical URL whose body evolves over time, with a Timeline section accumulating dated, sourced entries. Coverage is strictly ecosystem-level; per-validator news is out of scope.

Glossary

The wiki's vocabulary base — plain-language definitions for the metrics, programs, protocols, and architectural distinctions that shape staking outcomes on Solana. Each entry is cited, dated, and written from the staker's lens. The catalog grows as the network and its programs evolve.

Validator directory

Profiles of the major Solana validators — top-stake, top-Wiz-Score, SFDP-newer cohort. Each profile carries the same metric coverage: stake, Wiz Score, skip rate, base and Jito MEV commission, ASN, decentralization signals, MEV policy, and operator homepage. Same template, same evidence bar, every validator. No favorable framing for any operator; no hidden gaps for any operator.

Comparisons

Head-to-head pages for validator pairs stakers actively decide between. Each comparison runs the same metric coverage as the directory but side-by-side, with explicit "where they're similar" and "where they diverge" sections. Selection is metric-driven, not editorial.

Evaluation hubs

Ranked lists organized by criterion — decentralization (ASN concentration), commission rate with APY context, MEV passthrough, country, and total stake weight. Each hub explains its ranking methodology, shows the metric used, and links to the underlying validator profiles. A validator that ranks well on one criterion may not on another; the rankings move with the network.

Editorial policy

Solana Validators Wiki applies the same metric coverage, citation standard, and structural template to every validator profile. No operator gets favorable framing; no qualitative descriptor appears without a cited number behind it. The objective is a resource stakers can use without having to discount editorial bias.

Validator data is fetched from Stakewiz (api.stakewiz.com) on each refresh; commission history and ASN context cross-reference Validators.app; on-chain authoritative state comes from getVoteAccounts and getInflationReward RPCs.

About

This resource is operated by the team behind the RealValidator. Operator disclosure is in the Imprint and on the editorial team page linked from every article's byline. The neutrality of the content is the point: if the wiki ever surfaces our own validator favorably in a comparison or hub, it is because the public on-chain data places it there, not editorial framing.

Last network snapshot: epoch 971, 2026-05-15. Numerics cite sources current at that epoch and are re-checked on each refresh.
