What we do not do

Solana Validators Wiki is a fully static reference site. It does not:

  • Set first-party cookies
  • Run third-party analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, no Mixpanel)
  • Embed advertising or tracking pixels
  • Collect emails through forms
  • Run A/B testing or behavior tracking
  • Share data with third parties beyond the hosting provider described below

The site is intentionally minimal in its data footprint.

Data processed by Cloudflare (hosting provider)

Solana Validators Wiki is hosted on Cloudflare Pages at solanavalidators.wiki. When you visit any page, your browser connects to Cloudflare's network, and Cloudflare receives standard HTTP request data:

  • Your IP address (necessary to route the response back to you)
  • Your User-Agent string (browser identification)
  • The URL you requested
  • Standard HTTP headers (e.g. Accept-Language, Referer)
  • Approximate location derived from IP (for content delivery routing)

Cloudflare processes this data as a processor on behalf of the operator. Cloudflare retains access logs per its own schedule; the operator does not export or retain them. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum for details on Cloudflare's processing, retention, and security practices.

Legal basis (Art. 6 (1) GDPR): legitimate interest in serving a static reference site reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f)). Cloudflare server logs are not used by the operator for any analytics or profiling purpose.

Third-country transfers

Cloudflare is a US company. Personal data may be transferred to the United States. Transfers rely on Cloudflare's EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification and Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) where required. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.

Search engine indexing

The operator has registered solanavalidators.wiki with Google Search Console to monitor the site's search appearance. Search Console provides aggregate, anonymized data (search queries, click-through rates, page positions) sourced from Google Search's own systems — it does not transmit individual visitor browser data from this site.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation regardless of how minimal our data processing is:

  • Access (Art. 15) — request a copy of data we hold about you
  • Rectification (Art. 16) — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your data
  • Restriction (Art. 18) — request limited processing
  • Portability (Art. 20) — request data in a portable format
  • Objection (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interest

To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected]. Since the operator collects no first-party data, most rights will return a confirmation that no data is held; for Cloudflare-processed logs, see Cloudflare's data subject access process.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority. In Germany this is your state authority (e.g. BlnBDI for Berlin, LfDI for Baden-Württemberg). The federal authority is the Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (BfDI).
