Solana Validator Trackers
Ecosystem-level reference pages — protocol upgrades, Foundation rule activations, network state, stake-pool dynamics.
On this page
Persistent reference pages for ongoing Solana validator ecosystem subjects — protocol upgrades, Foundation rule activations, quantitative network shifts, and stake-pool dynamics. Each tracker is a single canonical URL that evolves over time as material changes, with a dated Timeline section accumulating sourced entries.
The wiki's Trackers section deliberately covers ecosystem-level subjects rather than per-validator press activity. The trackers below name affected validators when observable on-chain metrics make them relevant (e.g., the SFDP 2026 rules tracker lists validators above the 25% ASN concentration threshold), but no tracker exists as commemoration of a single validator's brand activity.
Validator-specific data lives in the validator directory and evaluation hubs; the Glossary defines terms cited throughout.
Protocol and consensus
- Alpenglow Mainnet Watch — SIMD-0326 deployment status, Votor + Rotor activation, 1.6 SOL/epoch VAT economics. Not yet on mainnet as of May 2026; expected Q3-Q4.
- Client Diversity Tracker — Solana validator client share by stake: Jito-Solana, Frankendancer, Agave, Full Firedancer. Frankendancer at approximately 26% of staked SOL as of May 2026.
Foundation programs
- SFDP 2026 Rules Tracker — May 1, 2026 infrastructure rule activation: ASN concentration <25%, data-center concentration ≤15%, TPU compliance. 16 days into active enforcement at this snapshot.
Quantitative network state
- Network State Monthly — Monthly state-of-network snapshots: total active stake, validator count, Nakamoto Coefficient, top-stake distribution, network-wide APY.
- Stake Pool Tracker — Marinade SAM auction outcomes, Jito Stake Pool selections, SolBlaze methodology, LST market relative sizes.
How trackers work
Each tracker is a persistent page, not a one-shot news post. The slug stays stable across the lifetime of the subject; the body evolves. Specifically:
- The Current state header at the top of each tracker summarizes the latest snapshot, cited to a specific epoch and date.
- The Timeline section grows over time — entries are appended in reverse chronological order, each dated and sourced. Entries are not edited or deleted once added; the timeline is the persistent record.
- Affected validators sections list validators in the wiki's directory by an observable metric criterion (ASN concentration above threshold, Jito-client status, etc.), not by editorial preference.
- The Sources section lists canonical references for the subject; Wire's autonomous news pass appends new sources when it finds substantive ones.
Editorial scope
Trackers cover the Solana validator ecosystem at the network level. Out of scope:
- Single-validator press releases or brand announcements (these belong in the operator's own homepage or external press; not in the wiki's neutral reference)
- Solana ecosystem news unrelated to validators (DeFi protocols, NFT trends, price action)
- Opinion or predictive content without sourced evidence
- Promotional content from validator operators or stake pool operators
A subject earns a tracker when it has sustained editorial substance over months and observable metrics that a tracker can cite and update. Discrete one-off events — even significant ones — do not get dedicated trackers; they appear as Timeline entries within the relevant subject tracker.
Tracker subjects and current states reflect the Stakewiz API cache snapshot at epoch 971 (2026-05-15) and operator-curated additions through 2026-05-16. Each tracker updates independently on its own cadence.
